Women's retreat

So most of us grew up at GSCC and know about the infamous Women's Retreat. Well, this year I finally gave in and am going tomorrow. I am excited because I'm going to room with three young moms that are in my bible study group and Pam Vredevelt is speaking, which I have wanted to meet her for a long time and am excited to meet her.

I think what definitely NEEDS to happen though is a girls' weekend at the beach with all of us. I see you all here and there but I think it would be fun to get away, watch Arachnophobia with popcorn and play Racko. Nothing like the good ol' days.

Ella is continuing to be a cute as ever, and we're beginning to figure out she is a little version of Karina! Doesn't want to crawl, wants to walk. Is so aware of her surroundings and I think will have a bit of perfectionism in her. I saw Karina yesterday and told her. I think it's awesome, but Karina didn't seem to think so. :) oh well.

We like to torture her by making her do things we think are funny, but she doesn't always think so. I got all of her stuffed animals and surrounded her with them and put her halloween "chick" head on her. She wouldn't smile for me! I thought it was cute. She thought annoying.
Then last night Steve decided instead of changing her diaper, he would make a hat out of it. She liked that one a little better, but again I think we were much more amused.

Have a great weekend!

She may be the cutest thing I've ever seen (besides my own boys of course). And I got goosebumps I was so excited when you mentioned Racko. I'm on it...I'll write down a few open days at my family's beach house and let you know :o) Have a great time at the Women's retreat. Don't go cruising Seaside with any boys named Cory and James.

Heather..I am so bummed that I couldn't go on the retreat..I went last year and really enjoyed myself. Maybe next year we'll both go. I hope you had a wonderful time. As far as the beach goes. I am SO there, you just all have to wait for me to wean Luke and then I am soooo there. Maybe late summer? That would be so fun to go back in time. Racko and that cabin just go together. But please, no arachnaphobia (sp?) that cabin is the worst place to watch that movie. SO creepy. Oh, I would love to spend some time with you. Looking at Ella is a trip..she looks SO much like you! She is beautiful!! Okay girls...promise you won't go to the beach without me, you can't play MASH without me!! Love you.

Is it the racko box that states, "A fun game of putting numbers in order". They sure know how to make a game sound exciting! But really, I'm in for a Racko-beach-movie-girls-retreat! By the way, Ella is SO VERY ADORABLE!!!
